EXPERIENCE THE ART OF PING PONG ROGERS EXPERIMENTAL HOUSE SERVES UP NEW EVENT
Rogers, AR—The Rogers Experimental House (RXH) invites the public to come to downtown Rogers this Saturday, September 1, for the Frisco Festival and while you are there, take a break from the heat to play some ping pong. The Art of Ping Pong is a fundraiser to support the projects and mission of the Rogers Experimental House.
WHEN: 9/1/18 from 2pm to 8pm during the Frisco Festival

Rogers Experimental House on the corner of Walnut and 2nd street in Downtown Rogers, will be hosting a day of fun for all, that will also help support our mission. 100% of the proceeds will help support this flexible platform of our maker space to provide a space for creative activities and to help incubate the cultural fabric of Northwest Arkansas.
WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING:
THE PING PONG TOURNAMENT will be managed by the NWA Tennis Table Club and will be a single, knock-out style with a $5 single or $10 team entry fee. Players are teamed up against one another and only winners may advance to the next round. This style is perfect for larger groups because it requires the fewest matches and so takes the shortest amount of time.
THE PING PONG ART ACTIVITIES
- ‘Jackson Pong It’ canvas area – We are going to set up an area to let kids roll ping pong balls around on paper, so they can paint the paper in a unique way and make art.
- Pongillism art piece – Buy a ball, each is a $1, and attach to large area set up for Pointillism piece. Be part of a larger community piece.
- Ping Pong sculpture – Buy a ball and lets make an unique piece of art together. Or buy as many as you want and make your own piece.
- An art silent auction. Bid on some amazing fluid art on canvas paintings donated to raise money for RXH by Marie Haley. She has been running our most popular class out of our space.
THE DRINKS are being donated by Bentonville Brewing Company.
THE PRIZES – Dayton Castleman, president of the RXH Board of Directors, is providing a 3-D printing demonstration and fabricating the 1st place trophy right in front of your eyes. The 1st prize winner will also receive an RXH gift package including an RXH logo shirt and mug.
Spectators are also invited to watch and contribute tax deductible donations to help keep this amazing space for future community events.

The Rogers Experimental House (RXH) is a 501c3 organization housed in a temporary project space located at 121 W Walnut in Downtown Rogers. The RXH provides a creative studio devoted to identifying space and resources to help independent and community-generated creative projects develop and become a reality. The vision of the Rogers Experimental House is to provide a permanent user-activated, non-profit platform for learning and experimentation encompassing visual art and design, fabrication and prototyping, culinary arts, performing arts, and start-up incubation.
